TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF BICYCLES

The Trustees of Agricultural Promotion Programme (TAPP) is a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act of Malawi (1962) registration number RG17665/1/1 and has been a member of CONGOMA since 2006 and NGO Board since 2011. TAPP implements development projects in livestock and crop value chain; climate change mitigation and adaptation; and Gender and Development. In addition it builds capacity of rural communities to ensure food and nutrition security, achieve efficient utilization of natural resources, improve livelihoods and reduce poverty.

TAPP is one of the NGOs that received funding from the Royal Norwegian Embassy through the Development Fund of Norway for the implementation of Sustainable Agriculture Lead Farmer Programme (SALFP). TAPP would like to use part of the funding for the procurement of 200 Bicycles for Lead Farmers in Chiwamba, Mvera, Chipuka, Kanjiwa and Chibvala EPAs.

Interested suppliers can collect the bid document from TAPP Head Office at LPMU (Old Egg Marketing Unit), on Likuni Road just before Malawi Dairy Industries by Monday 21st November 2016 at 12:00 noon at a cost of K5, 000.00. The closing date for receiving bids is Tuesday 29th November 2016 while the opening of the sealed bids will be done on Wednesday 30th November 2016 at 12:00 noon. The successful bidder will have to supply the bicycles within two weeks of signing of the contract.
